SAVE RUBBER, 1943. Original Linen Backed WW2 propaganda poster (29 x 40” / 95 x 131 cm) encouraging Americans to save on rubber by checking your tires for the war effort. One of many posters produced during the war to encourage the population to be aware of waste. These posters covered topics from food to fats to rubber with this one featuring a Willis Jeep under the tag line of “They’ve got more important places to go than you!…”

This poster was in very good C8 condition prior to linen backing with almost no wear along fold lines and no pin holes to speak of.  We linen back and frame all of our posters IN HOUSE at our studio in Katy, TX!
