created by Henry Raleigh (1880-1945) for the Third Liberty Loan campaign in which the general public were encouraged to buy U.S. Government Bonds This poster has been linen backed and
measures 20″ x 30″. Minor touch up to the upper left and right margins were undertaken during linen backing. powerful image depicting a soldier holding back a Hun with blood stains on his hands and a woman clutching her sleeping child. SOLD for $250
